The Huskies Suffer Heartbreak Late in the Game

The Huskies men's soccer team traveled to Syracuse to play SUNY-ESF on Wednesday evening. The game started off with a goal for ESF just 15 minutes into the game to take a 1-0; this score stayed the same through halftime. After back-and-forth possession of the ball from both sides, Mark Schneider flicked a shot past the keeper into the lower corner of the goal to level it at 1-1 with just under 30 minutes to play. With just under 3 minutes to go, a bounce over the Huskies' keeper trickled right into the goal, giving ESF a 2-1 victory over the Huskies. The Huskies' next game is Saturday at Vermont Tech.
