Pottersville, NY – Saturday afternoon was a rainy and wet day as the Huskies welcomed Penn State-Scranton to campus for the 2023 Word of Life Homecoming weekend matchup. With many alumni in attendance, the Huskies put on a show in the first half it started off quickly with a goal from Alexi Marshall in the 5th minute of the game and the Huskies never looked back as they scored 4 more goals in the first half which included Isaac Hilsher scoring his first goal as a Huskies and an absolute stunner of a goal from Calem Mason in the 40th minute. In the 2nd half, Joseph Mathews completed another hat-trick in the 71st minute to make it 6-0. Mathews now makes it 13 goals on the season.
The Huskies move to 5-2-1 and have now won 2 in a row. The Huskies will now host Paul Smith's College Bobcats on Wednesday, October 11th at 7 p.m.
