Dix Hills, NY - - The Huskies opened up HVIAC play for 2023/24 on Saturday afternoon against Five Towns College Sound. The Huskies have not played a game since December 14th in a home win against Paul Smith's College. The Huskies were looking to play off some rust from the Christmas break, but the Sound would be too much to handle as Five Towns took a 79-41 win over Word of Life. MJ Buck led the Huskies in scoring with 16 points, while Kayli Hayden scored 11 and Dakotah Cutting added 7 points.
The Huskies drop to 5-7 (0-1) on the season and will play Paul Smith's College on Wednesday evening at 5 pm looking for another bounce-back victory.
