Concord, NH – The Huskies secured a win on Saturday after a hard-fought game against the NHTI Lynx. The Huskies jumped out to an early lead and maintained their lead through three quarters.
In the fourth quarter, the Huskies attempted to put the game out of reach as their lead held at 11 points with under seven minutes to play. However, the Lynx playing in front of their home fans, did not give up. As the Huskies' shooting went cold, the Lynx found momentum and went on a 13-0 run to grab the lead, 43-41, with under 2 minutes remaining. Just as the game seemed to swing in favor of the home team, the Huskies quickly ended the run and grabbed the lead back with a clutch three-pointer from Clementine Danehy.
The Huskies held on to win the game 44-43 and grab an important road victory. The Huskies will stay away from home as they play Southern Maine Community College on Sunday, February 2nd.
